This Privacy Policy explains how Globaltrade di Linsen (the "Data Controller") collects and processes personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. Data we collect

When you submit an inquiry, register an account or contact us we collect: name, company, email, phone (optional), project details and any files you attach.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process your data to: (a) respond to inquiries and provide quotations — legal basis: pre-contractual measures; (b) fulfil orders — legal basis: contract; (c) comply with legal obligations (invoicing, tax); (d) with your consent, send occasional commercial communications.

4. Retention

Inquiry data is retained for 24 months. Customer order data is retained for 10 years as required by Italian tax law. Account data is retained until you request deletion.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with: hosting and email service providers under data-processing agreements, our accountants, and shipping carriers when you place an order.

6. Your rights

You may access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, and object to processing. To exercise these rights write to info@gtlinsen.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).

7. International transfers

Your data is processed within the European Economic Area. Any transfer outside the EEA is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, regular backups) to protect your data.
